Tree Fern is an excellent growing medium for orchids, air plants, ferns and more. This long lasting, fibrous, natural material offers excellent drainage and aeration. Used for mounting or potting. Tree Fern also offers a unique look. Orchid roots attach and grow through Tree Fern very well. Last for years. The pot/mount becomes the growing medium. Pots can be hung sideways and used as a mount. Tree Fern is a natural product. Selectively harvested in tropical climates. Each piece is different. Some denser while others are more fibrous. Shredded Tree Fern fiber is an excellent long lasting potting medium for orchids. Used alone or can be added to your favorite mix.
