Coconut husk chips can be used alone but usually mixed with other mediums such as charcoal and sponge rock. Many growers have come up with their own combinations. The possibilities are many. From tree fern to orchid bark, sphagnum or hydroton ect.
Coconut husk chips. Medium grade. compressed block approximately 12" x 12" x 12". expands to over 2 cubic foot.
Washed and pressed. No salt.
Neutral pH., long lasting, provides excellent aeration and water retention.
